On the flyer you received it is stated:
"Please pick your child up after class in the classroom or a $25 fee will be applied for every 10 minutes late and must be paid before student can return to art classes"
This year we have had quite a problem with late pick up, some time 45 - 55 minutes late.
We really do enjoy working with your children, but we are art teachers not daycare providers.
We, like you, feel our time is valuable and have families and obligations out side work. So when class is over we need to be able to get cleaned up and on with our lives and families.
I apologize if this seems harsh, the goal is not to have you pay absorbent fees, but to pick your child up on time.
If you have been charged a late fee for late student pick up, payment options are listed below so that your child can return to art classes.
1. Pay the Teacher with a check or cash the day you are late.
2. Send a check to Art For Kids, Inc, P.O. Box 756, Mukilteo, Wa 98275
3. Pay here with Visa/MasterCard by clicking the button below
Which ever payment you choose, it must be received before the next art class or your child will not be allowed to attend.
Another Problem we have had this year is Non-payment.
We have always tried to provide payment options for art class. By mail, online, and a payment plan spread out over the session.
Regretfully we are having to stop the partial payments or atleast change them. At some schools there has been such a problem collecting 2nd or 3rd payments we now can not offer that option any longer. At other schools we are having to change partial payments to only 2 payments instead of three. For those of you who have used this option and paid faithfully, THANK YOU, and We are sorry it has to change.
For those of you that have not fully paid for a session that is now completed please note the following information:
We are now keeping a database on nonpayment's.
1. If your child's name is in the database and you sign up for a future session, what is owed from previously will be subtracted from payment sent in and then you will need to pay the balance in full for the class you are currently signing up for, before your child will be allowed to attend the art class.
2. If you are currently in a session and 2nd payment comes due and you do not pay within 2 weeks after notice your child will not be allowed to attend any of the remaining classes in that session until balance is paid..
If you have come on hard financial times and are unable to pay please call and speak with Debbie Schneider.to see if something can be arranged. We will be glad to try and do what we can. We are asking that you please communicate with us.
